Maalesef required özelliği birçok tarayıcıda çalışmamaktadır. <input> ve<textarea> ile kullanımını Safari, <select> ile kullanımını hiçbir popüler tarayıcı (Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer vb.) desteklememektedir. HTML5 standardını kullanabilmek uygun DOCTYPE tanımlaması yapmalısınız.
